This is a fun place to go with kids, solely because it’s in the San Carlos airport. We get to watch planes take off and land. The food is mediocre at best and the staff is good.

Great diner - everything I have ever tried has been really very good. Great "one hundred dollar hamburger" if you want to fly in. Add in a trip to Hiller Aviation and it makes a good day trip.

First timer at this cozy place I was happily surprised and fully enjoyed my eating experience. I went to eat with two co-workers. Our server was great and she asked the right questions to make sure our individual orders were prepared correctly. I appreciated this because I eat out at least twice a week and have found out that not all servers care like she did.The dining area had tables as well as a counter to dine at. There are TV's to view from any seat in the dining area. I will definitely be back.

Great place. What a hidden gem this is. We ordered the French toast and waffles hashbrowns and bacon. The French toast is amazing the bacon is crispy and hashbrowns were well done. The View of watching the planes land and take off is always great. The ambiance and the atmosphere is amazing. It seems that everyone comes here with a friendly and positive attitude as well people actually socialize and talk to each other.

This place is fun, they have models of aircraft hanging from the ceiling and being on the airport property you can see airplanes taking off and landing. The food is tasty and not horribly expensive with a friendly wait staff.

Quaint little restaurant with great food. I was a little disappointed with the waffle and it was a bit chewy, but overall, my wife and I enjoyed the food.

It was great! First time eating there and had a delicious omelet. So good we came back the next day and had a monster breakfast burrito. Had to sneak a taste of the Navy bean and Ham soup too...yummy!!

Tried and true and consistent. Best little dinner for a hearty breakfast or lunch. Closes around 3pm. We have been coming here for many years. It is always good and the staff is always very friendly and attentive.

THE local pilot hangout. Good food with an extensive menu. Great service, and a great view of the ramp. Locally relevant photos and kitsch.

Delicious comfort food in a unique airport environment. Large menu of cooked to order foods, in generous servings. Great coffee. Enjoy the airplane decor, as you watch small single-engine private planes take off. Wonderful experience for kids (toys available for table play, and a kids menu). Friendly service, lots of free parking. Small store next door loaded with toys, snacks, and everything you'll need for a flight out!

I have been going here for a great many years. Always well prepared food served well and quickly and always a very helpful staff. Reasonable prices, great food and attentive waitresses.

Friendly employees helped seat our 2 families with small kids. Omlette I had was great!

Fantastic place to hang out in the morning with friends and have breakfast, I love the breakfast quesadilla, coffee isn't too bad for a Diner. 10x better than Denny's, be prepared to wait in line on the weekends as it gets busy and there's not many much seating. Well worth it for Diner-type food.

The Sky kitchen is located inside the san mateo airport. The location have beautiful view of all the planes . The menu has a variety of options for breakfast and lunch. The portions are pretty generous and the service is quick. Ideal for a quick lunch .

Whenever I am waiting around for passengers here I’ll eat here, if they are open. The staff is really nice and the breakfast is great.

Fun place to grab breakfast on a Sunday. Pancakes were excellent. My friend didn't care for the Eggs Benedict (too much source, he claimed) .

Really good breakfast, coffee and great service. This place could easily get passed by. Definitely worth trying if you just need a tasty bite. I plan on going back to check out the lunch options.

Classic old school diner type place with food that is not very good. Good service, homey, regulars. But there is a reason places like this seem like a thing of the past - we have higher standards for food quality now. We want better ingredients. I'd give this place a one or a two for the food, and a four or a five for the atmosphere and service (though only a few tables have a view of the runway).

Go-to Diner food. Great views for kids and adults (watching planes taking off and landing)

I love this place. My 2 year old son gets up close to see some plans landing all while enjoying a delicious family friendly breakfast.
